Why no advenced search? That's BS

Pretty piss poor there is no advance search option - I'm sure all in attemot to make us use the google search bar to gerenate $. The google search bar sucks. If you know how to use the advanced search function properly, you can find what your looking for a lot better. Lets say I remember a conversation from two years ago and someone posted about a particular piston they used in thier chevy 350. Good luck searching for chevy 350 piston with google search, but in the advanced search you can plug in "chevy 350 piston" AND thier user name AND the particular froum and get exaclty what your looking for. Luckily there is a back door to get to it. You might want to bookmark this because to my knowledge it's not in any menus unless it's buried somewhere.

Alright, I spoke a little too soon. It is there, but you have to open a forum to get to it. So it is a a layer or two down, but it's there.

Another way to get to it, is to hit the search button without putting anything in the Google bar....then go to the bottom where it says deep search........
I am not in love with this Google search either

We've been barking up that tree (last item in post) for a while now (it was mentioned even earlier than the linked post). I agree- must be something to do w/the google contract/agreement to make it the primary search engine.
