I am looking for reasons for why the test section I painted did not turn out as glossy as I would have liked.

I am using Blue Water Marine Gold Series (Polyester Urethane). I am applying with a pressure pot setup. I am using a Devilbiss Conventional JA 503 with a 1.1 Nozzle. The air cap used was a #80. I have since learned that this is not the best cap for urethane because it dues not amortize the paint into small enough particles.

I also painted on a humid day (90 degrees with 85 percent humidity).

Does anyone have any ideas from looking at the photo, why the paint is not glossier.
