Why THIS site?

I almost feel like I should be writing,"What I did on my summer vacation"

Why this site? Why do I hang out here even if I belong to other virtual clubs and hot rod hang outs? I think i can put it into just a couple of words.

com-rad-er-y: Companion, friend, associate. The people here are such family it isn't funny. We have crazy uncles, stupid brat brothers, cute sisters friends, and patriarchs. We anger at your losses, applaude your relationships, cry and bleed when you hurt.

pos-i-tive: Indicating affermation, acceptance, approval. We vall pretty much get along. Some have tainted thier own name, but we enjoy each others company. Sometimes we agree to disagree and sometimes we square off, but it smooths out nicely

hum-or-ous: The quality of being funny or comical. the biggest part of this group is a shade off plum. Where did you ever hear"getting trout slapped" before?

flour-ish: Thrive and prosper, embellish as in writing, musical fanfair They all fit well. We do continue to grow in many areas. From knowledge we obtain, ideas we had not discovered ourselves, from reading the way something was written that cuases us thought, and we do get a tad flamboyant from time to time.

What made me think of these things happened while wearing a t-shirt I got from Slider in Wash, listening to a disc made by Hot Rod it in England, and watching a car show on two discs I opened from Pinto Guy in Calif.

Thank you all for being just who you are. A fine bunch of folk. And to you, Jon, I'm glad your idea became a reality!

What words would you use?

You guys said everything I feel. I'm still a pretty new member here, but I come on this board more than ANY other website. My main reason is that everyone here is ACCEPTING, along with all the other great remarks that have been said. Danka Jon...

Well put, Madd. I'm sorry our Tenn trip fell by the way side: I was looking foreward to metting the guys and gals, swaping lies and admiring hardware!!

Why here? Because nowhere else would have me! Thats probably true, but not the right answer. Like I said in the post I made just like this a while ago on the old board back in the early days.

Why here Madd, because your here bud. You and those like you. Hotrodit, willy's, axle, senor, Chuck, yourself, Jon, trees, woodsedge all of you who make this place what it is. I'm sure I left alot of folks out, but it goes out to you as well. Thanks for making this place home, wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

I've only been posting on the board for a short while but you all know that 4 Jaw Chuck has been a member of the board almost since the whole thing started.
Having said that, I have therefore been reading posts and following threads since Chuck became a member.
Because of this I feel that I know all of you....especially HK, BBB, Chevyluvnpuppy, Willys36 and Crazy larry.
I have to say, I really enjoy logging on and checking the lounge to see what's new or the tech area, to see what I can learn (that Chuck doesn't already know) and it really does feel like a family.

Chickie.
BTW Larry, love the new avatar.

Cause when I don't show up for awhile, people miss me.

I love you guys!!

The first thing I noticed about this site is how everybody manages to hang out together, even if they're sportin' different emblems. You guys just wanna talk cars, long as its trick, smooth and loud.

Wink WHY THIS SITE

I have been in a few clubs over these past years. This place makes me feel welcome. I sent in a problem about a 4x4 not really expecting a reply. Lo and behold. I got several answers to every problem i sent. HALLOWEEN KING sent me some excellent plans for tilt front end i can't wait to get to on my bronco. All summed up, THANK EVERYONE for making this a success.FROM an old 60's rodder grandpaw. KEEP UP THE FIGHT TO STAY AROUND ,By the MUCKRUNNING HAWGBEAR

Well said Madd. The fact is that there is no place else that compares to this place to hang. No matter the mood you're in you can always find someone or something in this site to make the day better.

This is a good place to hang out when the weathers to hot to play in the garage. Great group of people who love their rides and want to BS and just have Fun. And they like to Hunt Trolls and give them the boot! Troll hunting is good fun too!!
