Why so few company reviews?

Hi guys,

Yes I am new here but have been into cars since I was a kid and am currently building a '35 Chevy Master coupe. I fabricate some and will purchase parts from suppliers as well. Since this is a rural area there are few other people to share their good and bad experiences with me regarding various suppliers thus the value of the company reviews section.

I notice many companies have very little feedback concerning their products and was just wondering why.

Appreciate all your thoughts.

Advance,

It takes a moment to log into the company review section and post. I think more people need to encourage all to post comments on the review boards.

I know it helps me when looking at different products and companies.

I have seen a few more remarks on the board about companies. It would be great for those folks to take a moment and keep their views alive longer by posting in the Company Reviews.

With 20, 000 plus people listed in the member's section, The views can reach a whole lot of people.

Thats how I found this board, I wanted people's views on the product and companies they used to help me decide what rod I wanted to buy.

Dutchman,

Thanks for your thoughts. Do wish more people would post their good and bad experiences with representatives and their products. The rod magazines generally rave about all products so it is difficult to get a good read on what is quality and what isn't. It might impact their advertising revenue. Trial and error is more costly than sharing views.

Frankly, I've had good experiences with the products I've bought over the years. Those new companies I haven't bought from previously earn my business by prompt responses and answering questions. Just basic common business sense though it is lacking at a number of suppliers. Guess what, they don't get my business.
