Why suicide doors are saver as you may think

Why suicide doors are saver as you may think.( A true story)

Once on a sunday morning my parents were driving along to see my granny.I was sitting in front next to my dad.. My mother was sitting in the back feeding my little sister. And there was a nasty fly buzzing around my head.As my father was more concentrated to the rear mirror, i think,i decided to open the door for an inch to let him out.And than in a split second the door opens wide, the wind takes you up as a leaf, and you are roling over the street And there you are, next to the road, without any wounds, bumbs and scratches, waiting for your parents to pick you up.
I was lucky, because on the left side there was a canal very close to the road and i could not swim that time.

Funny story - very lucky you weren't hurt or killed! That's why I added the safety pins to my suicide doors!

At the NSRA Western Nationals in Merced in 79 (?) one of my friends in his 32 Ford three window pulled up to park near me and his wife got out of the car looking pretty funky, she had road rash all over her face! She had falling out the night before and wasn't so lucky going UNDER the door as it swung open.

Once when I was a little tike my dad had a 1948 Plymouth 2 door coupe. We had a traffic circle in the town were I grew up. I was in the front seat hanging on the door frame. As we were going around the traffic circle the door flung open. There I was hanging onto the door frame with the door wide open. I can still see my dad's face as he looked over at me.
