HG the best formula I have found for wheelbase to width is Wheelbase should be at least 1.2 times width from outside of tires. This is so that you always have steering authority. of course that depends on how much weight you carry on the front too. As you stretch the chassis the front wheel has more ability to help you change direction. But it is a balancing act. the closer the weight is to the front wheel the better it steers. But the more it will want to lay over in the turns. I would want to keep at least 60% of the weight on the back wheels. 70% would be even better but it would lift the front with only the slightest blip of the throttle. And that will probably happen way to much as it is, with your power to weight ratio. LOL. Hope this helps Bill
