Width on Chevy axles?
Hi,
looking for a 10-bolt or 12-bolt Chevy axle. Do anyone know the different in width depending on year models and from what car?

I have a 76 camaro 10 bolt posi trac rear end for my DeSoto. It measures 55 inches from the rear of the brake drums. My oldst sons 86 camaro measure the same.
Don't know about my second oldest sons 82 camaro he's not home.

Look at a book called Chevrolet by the numbers, there are two different books covering different years, it's full of info such as overall width, spring perch width, etc.
