Post the wife's mad

i need help. my question is my 66'mustang just had a moter transplant from 200 6 to 302 v8
i used 87 ho heads and a 76 block now the car runs rough. could it be the push rod are still to
short? at high rpms it runs fine (great). the wife wants to drive the stang but she said that she can'twith it running rough.

the 87block had roller lifters i am using hydrlic lifters and stock pushrods

Don't they sell an adjustable push rod for just such a problem? I beleave they do. Just follow the instructions. Once you find the correct length, buy a set that long and your on the road again!!
