wiki update: Wheelbase database

A while back, Sprecher48 started this article to list common wheelbase data: Wheelbase database. I saw that Matt167 had been working on it recently, and it's coming along nicely.

If you have any wheelbase data to add, please insert it into the article. Anyone can edit a wiki article -- you don't even need to register.

Here it is again: Wheelbase database.

Thanks .

Does anyone know of a more comprehensive wheelbase database online than the one linked in the message quoted above?

The one mentioned above contains no data regarding MoPars or vehicles newer than 1969 which may make viable donors for chassis swaps, like Chevy/GMC S-10 trucks, etc.

I've been using Autotrader.com for wheelbase data for newer cars/trucks as potential donors. The wheelbase data is in their "research vehicles" section. After you pick a make, model, options, then it lists a bunch of basic technical specs including wheelbase - at least it did for the trucks I was looking at.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I looked at Dodge for data and the year listings only go back to 1995. Plus, it is a hassle to find information by having to deal with numerous navigation steps and too much unrelated content. I was hoping to find a plain and simple listing presentation like the Wiki resource.

Thanks. That's the kind of easy to access data that I find most beneficial.

By looking at your contribution I learned the wheelbase of one of my most favored former vehicles, a 1968 442. I wasn't concerned with the wheelbase of it when I owned it decades ago, and, wasn't looking for reference data for that now, but, it is nice to glance over while searching for other makes and models of vehicles.
