I have been digging around without much luck
Will an Painless 18 circuit harness live with a
Powermaster 140 amp alternator?

The size of the alternator has nothing to do with how many circuits the panel has, or vise versa. I would make sure that the charge wire from the alternator is of sufficient size to handle the extra capacity. I would also convert the wiring harness to remote voltage sensing.

Here is a web site that explains it. The site seems to be down when I tried to confirm the link.
