Will a 235/250 inline fit in a 1932 chevy?
I have a 32 chevy restorod with a v8 in it. I would like to go back to the cars roots by pulling the v8 and install a nice 60's chevy inline. The car has a very nice interior so I don't want to modify the firewall.
Does anyone have information comparing the physical dimensions (particularly length) of the very early 30's Chevrolet inline 6 and the 60's-70's incliners? Thanks!

Chevy 235-250 in a '32 Chevy
I have a '32 and it has a 261 in it. It runs just fine and the fit was no problem. I took out the old engine and running gear and used a T-5 transmission and a '84 Chevy Malibu rear end plus the front axle is from a '41 Chevy pickup. So now I have four wheel anti-lock disc brakes too. It is a daily driver.
I'll post pic;'s tomorrow when I at home. I'm in the air right now getting supplies to the flood areas in the South East. Normbc9
