Will a 440 wedge mechanical injection system work on a 348 BB Chevy
I was just needing to know if a 440 wedge or plain 440 mechanical injection system would work on a 348 BB Chevy cause a guy I talked to on ebay said that he thought it would work. Or if any other mechanical mechanical injection system (the kind with the stacks) would work let me know. I called hilborn and kinsler to see how much a system would cost and they both said around $7000
But that is a little to much for me considering I only 16 so I need something a little cheaper. Thanks348chevy |

To the best of my knowledge the 440 bolt pattern and spacing isn't the same as a 348. If you had a 348 fuel injection manifold all the other parts could probably be made to work but if the manifold wont bolt up you might just as well forget it.

If this is anything but a race car, don't even go there.........You will be much happier with a carb.
