will 68/69 GTO disc brakes fit 67 camaro
I have a set of 68/69 GTO disc brakes with upper and lower control arms spindles the works will these fit my drum brake 1967 RS Camaro
The arms are wrong, a GTO uses front steer and Nova Camaro use rear steer, you can shorten the top mounting boss on the Camaro spindle and use the GTO components on your existing spindles.
HOLD ON! it's been more than a couple of years since I did this one and as my Geezer brain just recalled, Don't quote me on this, but I believe that I had to use Nova Camaro Calipers and Rotors for this one, something about Caliper piston and rotor offset weren't correct. Rotors are cheap, just bought a new pair for my 71 Nova for less than $45.00 and rebuilt calipers shouldn't be all that bad.
All you need is the spindle assembly, it will bolt right on.

The GTO disc-brake spindles are the same as 67-69 disc-brake Camaro spindles. The 68's had 4-piston calipers, the 69's had single-pistons. As long as the calipers, caliper brackets, hoses, & dust shields match each other, you should be OK. Whichever you have, use your Camaro steering arms.
Bob, were those rotors new or used?
