will 69 camaro headers fit an 81 monte carlo?
 

they seem to be a good choice and i figure the g body steering box is decently farther forward i would have no prob installing them.

You can always try them if you have a pair already. I don't think I would order a set until I talked to a header company. There is a heck of a lot of room in my Camaro's engine bay but I still had to dimple a header tube to clear the steering gear.

NO they will not fit. The front tubes on most will not clear the crossmember.

I looked up a set of Hookers for a '69 Camaro 350, Gen 1, the part number 2451HKR is the same for an '81 Monte Carlo 350.

I'm not going to say they will actually fit, but I have never had Hookers that didn't fit properly in my vehicles.
