Will a 69 Chevelle rearend fit my '67 Chevelle

I bought a '69 Chevelle rearend for my '67 Chevelle. I was told it would fit but it was just like and inch wider. When I crawled under there today, I saw something a little different than the rearend I bought. The spring cups on the '69 axle have coils spring plates with a bolt to hold them down and my '67 has coil spring cups without a plate. Will this rearend still work without any mods? It looks to me like it will but I'd rather have a second opinion from someone a bit more experienced.

I can vouch that a 67 Chevelle rear end is a direct bolt-in with swap with a 1968 Chevelle - I did that on my 68 to gain some additional tire clearance.

I don't recall having to weld or change anything on my swap - I can't imagine why the 69 would be different.

I take it the spring perch is in the correct place just a difference in the cup and hold down?

Thats right. Everything is the same place as far as I can tell except the cups and hold down. I'm pretty sure it will fit, I'm going to put install it tomorrow. I'll post again after I get done to whether it works or not.
