Will 9 inch lincon axels fit my camaro rims?

I'm wondering, because they are supposed to be the same size but it just slightly won't fit in the holes.... I'm wondering if the axel I tried is somehow messed up.

if not does someone make adaptor plates to go from the ford 9 inch truck axels and to fit a camaro rim?

(I think my camaro rim is 4.74 inch lugnut spacing)

I sent my ford axles out to Moser Engineering, they specialize in axles. They redrilled them to the chevy bolt pattern.
It only cost $30 for the work................and $40 to ship them.
Call them, they will be able to tell you if they can do it for your particular application.

i put chrome spoke wheels off a bronco on my chevy blazer with no problem.
i don't think this will work, i think the 9"bolt pattern is 5"
my cutlass should have the same as your car, the wheels from my 9" won't fit my car.
BUT ...... i could be wrong.
