Will a Camaro 5 speed connect to Chevy 292 ?

Will a 86-89 Camaro 5 speed and bellhousing connect directly onto a Chevy 292?
or will it take a major modification.

Doesn't the Camaro T5 mount on a left leaning angle? May make shifter location a problem.
T5 from 2.8L, 3.1L 3.4L V6 have 60* Bellhousing pattern.
62up Inline 6cyl. use the same 90* mounting pattern as SBC/BBC engines.
I'm not sure about Clutch parts. etc..

SBC = SmallBlockChevy
BBC = BigBlockChevy
