Post Will chevelle brakes work on my 55 belair

I have a 55 belair 2 door hardtop, I was wondering if chevelle brakes and spindles will work on the front end, I can't afford much I'm only 16 I hope someone can help me out

Hey maddog! If you contact Speedway motors, they have a basic disc conversion kit for 55-57 for about $80. You supply the claipers and rotors, hoses etc. You need rotors and calipers for 70's mid size such as chevelle. You can use your stock 55 spindles. The kit is mainly the caliper bracket. Rebuilt calipers won't run that much. You can do the conversion for much less than a delux conversion kit. Good luck!
