Will this effect the final finish?
I'm gonna be using an intercoat with sort of pear in it. The base is just white base. Can I just use white epoxy as a sealer and use that as my base? And would I get a better or worse finish if I used the epoxy then the acutal basecoat? OH and it's all SPI.

Poor mans paint job
Some people use black epoxy then straight to CC. Seems to work OK. Don't know the down side to this approach???

I wouldn't think of using white epoxy as my base coat. It's better to use a quality base coat and then two coats of inter coat with the pearl followed with 3 coats of clear.
