Will a Ford Sport Track rearend fit?

Is the Explorer Sport Track rearend narrower than the regular suv model? I'm thinking of swapping it into my "98" ext. cab sonoma.I have seen the regular suv rearend swap before. I'm running a boosted 4.3 and know the stock rear will go out sooner or later.
