Will this idea work?

I have an 82 Camaro. My friend has an 80 Trans Am. He wants to sell me the seats from his to put in mine. Will 80 Trans Am seats bolt right into an 82 Camaro? Thanks in advance.

BTW - Both the Camaro and the Trans Am have bucket seats, if that matters.

The body style changed in 82. I would doubt if the floor pans are the same. You may be able to use the 80 seats with the 82 seat tracks.
