I'm running a Chevy 350 in a 1980 Trans Am. The engine is basically all stock besides longtube headers, Edelbrock intake and carb, and the block has been bored .30 over. It is a newer engine with the centerbolt Vortec heads.
Not sure what the compression is on it. I'm gonna go on a limb and say around 9.5:1.
I'm looking to run a Centrifugal Supercharger. I'm really wanting to run this Vortech Entry Level system here

It'll probably never hit over 5psi. This is going to be like a 95% street car. I'm wanting to make this a bad *** sleeper with around 350-400hp.
So would I be safe to run this car regularly on the street without an intercooler? Or will I need to get on to keep the engine safe?
