will lowering my truck mess with my pinion angle?

If I was going to install a flip kit to my truck would this make the pinion angle too much? I haven't ever heard of this happening but thought I'd ask. thanks bf

As long as you aren't doing anything that will rotate the rear end in any way, thus changing the pinion angel, then just lowering it won't bother that in any way. Lowering blocks, raising blocks, etc. don't cause pinion angle problems.

Here is a review of the goal. The green configurations are fine, the red and orange are NO-NOs!

Willys, that's a great graphic to use when we get these questions. I usually send people to the Inland Empire Driveline web site since they have a pretty good driveline setup guide there but this graphic pretty much says it all. Hope you don't mind if I borrow it now and then.

Go ahead. I plagiarized it from somewhere too!
