As a small thank you to all the help I've received on here, I thought I'd post this in hopes it would raise a smile (probably accompanied by a shake of the head)...

This is the result when someone attempts an engine rebuild and innocently assumes the best way to get the crank and heads all nice and clean is to SAND-BLAST them! Then, because the blasting didn't make the heads quite as shiny as hoped, why not spray the heads silver ALL OVER

We all know SBC parts take a lot of abuse. A little bit of polishing and they will bolt on just fine.

LOL,usually we spray aluminum heads orange to look like cast iron I never heard of anyone doing it the other way around....Whats scrap going for these days???
every time I do something stupid ,I'll look at this and I wont feel so down...
