Post will starter bolt up still?

Have a 1968 327 chev. that had a powerglide bolted to it orig. Now have a rebuilt 350 trans. and need to know if the rebuilt starter I have for the orig. 327/p.g. will have any problems working for the 350 trans.?
Also need to know if the p.g. driveshaft will work for the 350 trans.?
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks! R.P.

both should work fine.the starter tuns the engine over, not the tranny.you might have a problem with drivshaft length.as there are 3 different length 350's that I know of.hope this helps

Wink

RP If you still have the pg, set them side buy side. And if you have a short tailshaft trans you will see that their is only 5/8'-3/4' differance. Your trans mount will work also, same holes,a direct swap. Did the same thing your doing and she slipped right in! In my 67' nova I did have to get a Lokar flexible dip stick because of tight squeeze in nova. Good luck to ya!
