spindle swap for bigger rotors

i have an s10 and was wanting to convert the front spindle and rotor from the s10 to one from a 73-77 nova, camaro, monte carlo and i think a caprice is the same im not sure. they are a 1 inch bigger rotor and caliper. my question is will the bottom ball joint interchange? is it direct fit? will the top interchange? i dont think it will directly fit. i know they have tubular a arms for this conversion but i didnt want to pay $1500. ive heard of circle track racers doing something like this, can anyone help?
