Hey, Willys had to go....plus it was the mother-in-laws car....

I remember the salesman picture....I like it.....

What did she say...Hey, is that your car outside...?
Don't make me look for that old thread......

Even though Willys said "If nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve."...for Governor of California
I think it makes a heck of a campaign picture...
C'mon.....I think Willys could pronounce Gubernatorial better than Ahnold anyway.....

Willys,
Man, we had to do that to keep the hydraulic systems filled in the older aircraft when there was a leak. Didn't know it helped octane.

Man, check out that tie! Where did you rent that suit? (Willys is like 6'8 or something, I'm 6'0 and feel like a dwarf next to him.) I think this pic would look good on the campaign posters. Dan

I noticed the tie too!

If it weren't for the tie I would say he was representing Capone in that picture.

Funny though, I always pictured him wearing a T-shirt and blue jeans with spatter holes burnt in them from welding.

Good point. You mean like this? This is my week end uniform only it usually isn't near this clean. Do have many welding spatter holes but recently I have been squeezing between my garage door and the rear of the frame of my truck and not making it so most of my jeans are now Bermuda shorts.

The tie is one I borrowed from my son - blame him . I was at a photographer's for a business head shot and she looked out her window and saw my car. Said she HAD to shoot it right there. She gave me the negatives for a few great B&W photos, free!

P.S. In looking for your perp, 4 Jaw has had a lot of time on his hands lately and is burnt out on Hotrodders. Hmmmmm.....

You need to get out more. Sounds like a picture of grass growing would make it into your wallpaper file!!

I thought of willys as a mean, long bearded guy with tattoes and a deep voice. That pic totally changed my thoughts on you. Anyone ever tell you you look like an angry congressman in that pic. Who am i kidding....
