Windage tray clearance
How much clearance should there be between the crankshaft and a windage tray?
The tray is on a 351M/400 with a 7qt oil pan. There is a small amount of clearance, but I am not sure if it is enough. Greg |

Thanks, I used a mounting kit from Canton and it had 1/2" nuts on the top and specified 20 ft/lbs and I torqued the main caps #2 & 4 to 105 ft/lbs per the engine specs. Anyway .100" is pretty close and I am not that close.
