Windlace for Model A
Got a stupid question for you I am doing the interior of my Model A and need some windlace for the doors and all the shops want to sell it to me in 50ft rolls. What do you guys think about using old fashioned rope for the core of the windlace?
Pro's and Con's? Thanks - Jerry |

You really need to use sponge rod for your windlace. Rope good enough to make decent, smooth windlace would be just as expensive as the sponge rod. If you like, I can sell you as many feet of sponge rod as you need. In fact, I have some windlace all made up that you could have for a song. Check out my profile and send me an e-mail if you're interested.
