window channels and felt

I'm building a replica h1 hummer. I need to get window channel molding and felt for the doors. I've looked at Soffseal, Precision, StanPro and nobody makes anything even close. My channel is 5/8" wide and 9/16" deep. The door has a lip on both sides of the glass for felt to be pushed on to. I'll post some pictures at my web site. www.ltw.net/windows this week end.

Metro is another good place to look.
http://www.metrommp.com/

Look at the "universal" parts heading, then "window channels and sweepers".

You will find stuff like this

Later, mikey

Hey, you should be able to pick that up at Mossberg-Schleeter over near the Mangum/290 area. Check the phone book.

Thanks Guys,

I haven't found any one yet that has 5/8" x 5/8". I'll keep looking.

This is a Urban Gorilla. Same as is on Xtreme4x4. Watch the show on Feb 11 and 17.

I thought you said 5/8 X 9/16?

Try Sommer and Maca or CR lawrence.
You will need to create an account on both sites, as they don't usually sell to the general public.

Here is some more of the stuff that cr lawrence has.

If those guys don't have it, and it isn't an OEM piece then it probably isn't made. I can't imagine that the guys building those hummers would have specified something custom for window channels.

Thanks Mikey,

I did say that the first time didn't I. The depth is 9/16 to the top of the channel. If I can, I'd like for it to be 5/8, that way it sticks out a little and can give me some more glass contact.

I'll try the other places.
