Window regulators-39 Chevy

Anyone have ANY idea how to remove the regulators and windows in a 39 Chevy? I'm stumped.

Been watching to see if anyone gave any help.Where are you having the trouble with them?I will be taking the glass out of my doors soon and wasn't looking for any extra grief.I took the back windows out-- in a 2 dr.--- last year when it went on to the rotiesere, and they were easy to get out. Jim.

I got them out last night. Wooof, not fun with a 66 year old car.

First thing is remove the garnish moulding. Then remove the divider between the wing window and roll up window. 2 screws at the very top, accessed by rolling the window down, and removing the channel felt , Then remove the stud/nut about 8" below regulator. Remove the separator channel completely. Then rol the window down to where you can see the lower window channel. 4 screws (2 groups of 2) remove the channel from the horizonal regulator riser. Roll the window almost out, tip it out, and finish pulling it out. Because the grease/dirt form 66 years, you may have to pull the wheels from the X out of the riser channel.

Then it drops out the bottom of the door.

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE SEPARATOR CHANNEL. The channel goes behind the regulator, and wond allow the splines to pass inside the door. The handles have the same type clip than the 60's cars had.
