Post windshield advice for 39 ford coupe

I am a professional glass installer, and have 16 years of experience in the field. A customer brought me a 39 ford coupe that had the crank out windshield at one time, but someone had changed to a glue in installation. They leaked and looked terrible, and my customer wants them redone with new trim. I have some ideas, but if anyone has better ones, I would love to hear them. Or if someone makes a molding kit, etc., let me know.
Thanks---

Does the window glue in from the outside like a conventional windsheild? Recessed in a frame? I know what we use works good if that is the case. It is the windsheild moulding from a 2001 dodge caravan. Works good, really flexible and easy to use.

A friend of mine has a 47 Ford and he found a place in Texas, I think. This guy makes windshields for old Ford cars in one piece. They are a little pricey but looks great. This will allow you to remove the center post. I think I saw his name etc. in an issue of street rodder. Good luck!
