Windshield Seal

I have come to the conclusion that the Bob Drake rubber windshield seal is somehow misshaped or something because when it is snapped into place the bottom part of the seal curls under the windshield frame so much that the window cannot crank close. Trying to uncurl it causes the seal to come out of the groove it is snapped into. Any recommendations for vendors for rubber products for 1937 ford coupes? Drake has a 30 day return policy and unfortunately I bought the seal when it was on sale quite some time ago, so they cannot take it back. What about Dennis Carpenter? Others?

Steele Rubber Products - Quality Crafted Automotive Rubber Parts and Weatherstripping Carpenter supplies several aftermarket vendors and sadly they are outsourcing,I replaced the vent rubbers on my '54 Ford and they fell apart within six months I have had several members in my Ford Group have motor mounts and A-frame bushings fail within a year from Dennis Carpenter, any rubber product from China or India should be avoided.Steele is almost 100% USA made so far.
