if my memory serves me correctly (and it usually does)the windshield in the 67 imp is a glue in deal. just order one from any of the impalapart shops in the tint you need and go to the smallest and oldest autoglass shop in town, its usually the ones (the owner atleast) who knows how and why.

LOOK FOR A GLASS DISTRIBUTER IN THE YELLOW PAGES. CALL AND AND ASK THEM FOR A REFERRAL. PPG GLASS HAS WINDSHIELDS. ANOTHER THING IS TRY SOME BODY SHOPS IN YOUR AREA.

things like this are hard to believe but I run into it daily.
a few years ago I changed my company name to "the old car glass guy" and many of the shops in the portland area reccomend me for pre 70 and speciality cars and trucks. anyone that even knows how to cut flat laminated glass are retired or dead (I'm just tired) I can't imagine what it will be in another 20 years and have no plans on finding out. in the mean time your car takes part number DW660 and the the installion is quite simple try calling the smaller or one man shops stay away from the full page ads in the yellow pages they are high volume dealers. good luck |
