I am still laughing at the winter we have here so far, The "lake effect" snow ends up north or south of me most of the time.
The part I hate about this winter so far is the warming up and rain we have in the 5-day forecast.
Man, I wish I were back in Michigan, it snowed and stayed that way, froze and stayed that way.
Here, we get a snowfall from the steam coming from United Refining Company, and the Mist coming from the Kinzua Dam.
I wish it would either snow, or not, warm-up, or not, and stop this changing all the time like the rotten rainy year we haven't completely gotten out of yet.

Im outside most of the day. I wear my coveralls, a jacket over those. Of course pants and a shirt under the coveralls. Gloves (these come off some) and if its really cold a facemask, i stay nice and toasty

I was cleaning the garage out today wearing a tee-shirt, shorts and flip-flops. Dont know what the temp was exactly. My only experience with the cold in Ohio was 15 years ago in the military. Four of us made it to Youngstown to visit a friends family for the holidays. On the way out, on the interstate, the camper shell on the truck blew off from leaving the side windows open with the back section closed. Spent the remainder of the trip in a military extreme cold weather sleeping bag,in back of the truck, all the way to Ft. Campbell KY. That cured me of wanting to move to cold places. As far as the ideal place, St. John Virgin Islands. 70-80 degrees year round. I guess that is as long as you dont mind the occassional hurricaine flattening the place.

Cold you say!

You should try living next to Lake Huron! And my ride is tucked away nice and warm in the garage. Should be cruising by July, though. How come insurance is so high considering how many months we get to drive.

Ford performance white? All I know is at the end of a production run we make a LOT of White vehicles because white hides a lot of body imperfections?? That way the company dosn't have to scrap them all out! Now its snowing out and piling up like crazy. We will have a white Christmas!

Look on the bright side though..........we got our "White Christmas" and you know what happens on December 26th? It's open season for all the winter projects that were put on hold for the holidays! It's cold here (yes, I live in Ohio, too), it's snowy, but I know that Friday we'll be chaning heads and the cam, so I'm content!

Going to Mentor for Ford 9" read end.

If the weather cooperates I'll pick up a Ford 9" rearend to go along with one of my projects and a set of sbc 400 rods if they are still available. My wife tells me we are rewiring the 37 Dodge thats been sitting in the garage the last 4 winters some time while I'm off work from Avon Ford. Its snowing again, everything is covered, its wonderful!

HOLY COW?!?!?!? Avon Ford? Todd, is that you? If so, this is Natalie/Michelle, aka the TPT from Wingard Racing.
