Todd,
Actually, we were all told NOT to come back after 12/23 until "further notice" . What a Xmas gift, LOL. It's all still up in the air, but now that you told me that, I may have something to cling to afterall. Nice to "see" ya, BTW.

the game's they play
Thats how they play the game to get the TPT's hired. Of course the company wants to keep expenses down so New TPT's is better for their bottom line and the Union wants the existing TPT's hired! Last few time's the Union has won out, so hang in their gal, hopefully a very happy New Year for you is coming in the near future!

Store my cars for half of the year, every year. Freeze my *** off, have to bundle up an infant, and rely on "rump warmer" seats in the Focus to keep me content. Wear big, bulky coats, and other winter attire, hope for a white Christmas that lasts one day , do things like sled ride, shovel snow, and watch the salt trucks for entertainment.- OR - Drive my cars year round. Never worry about "winter plans", because I can do it anytime! Wear hotsy shorts, tank tops, trot around barefoot, let the baby enjoy a swim in her diaper. Sacrifice the joy of seeing snow on Christmas, as that has nothing to do with the true meaning of the holiday anyhow. And one last thing..........buy central air, just in case things get stuffy.Yep, I'm taking option 2!

I suggest you all move to Florida. Make that Central Florida. Average temp. year round 70 degrees. Not bad! Housing is reasonably priced. No State Income Tax. Good dragstrips. Good seafood. No snow (except on TV). Lots of snakes - not sure if that's a selling point or not. You can work on your car everyday if you wish - unless it's in the evening when the mosquitoes come out to eat!

How the hell did we get from snow and cold to the topic of cows?
Anyhow, Florida sounds like a dream! And seafood? I can just picture myself doing a cylinder head change in January, wearing Bermuda shorts and a tank top, munching on fresh mussels and Shrimp Scampi! |

Well it was so nice here in NC that a friend of mine was out mowing his yard today. Nice day in the Sunny South.
