Winter in Ohio $ucks big time!

I walk out side and its 20 f-n degrees man! The dogs don't even want to play outside?? My garage is 36deg and I can't get to the wood burner to fire it up cause I pushed a bunch of stuff in front of it to have room to rewire the 37 Dodge and now there isn't room to load logs in the stove! I am into the Holidays but this snow and cold will have to go away SOON! Do they have snow in Arizona in the winter time? I may have to look into retirement in Arizona. Just think of it, sand and 70deg and cactus to decorate! Damn, my wife just told me how hot its gets in Arizona in the summer time, I just can't win for loosing man!

You sound just like me.......

Of course, we could shut off the damn computer, get off our ***, put our coats on, go outside and clean up all that ******* in the garage and light a fire.......

Nah, maybe tomorrow....

I feel for you guys. I have spent some time in Ohio during he winter and I don't know how you guys do it in the colder climates.

We think it's cold here (California) when it's anything under 60*. That's why we pay the "SUNSHINE" taxes (higher cost of living). I often think about leaving so I can have more property, less taxes, less crime, less traffic, nice big shop on my land, etc... It always comes down to the weather. I can drive my car and play outside pretty much year round (I just don't drive it in the rain).

No matter where you live there is always something that is not ideal. Once I find that place that has everything, I will pack up and move.

The people in Ohio are sure nice and friendly though. Nice houses for cheap too.

You really want me to make you sick? I moved from Ohio to the South nine years ago and even though it was 40 degrees today I was outside washing my GTO. Whenever they call for alittle dusting of snow or a little ice evryone freaks out and cleans out the stores. At least up north the stores stay stocked and everyone expects the bad weather and is used to it and aren't afraid to get out and drive in it, hell down here if the roads get wet at 32 degrees everyone slows down to 15mph. Try to cope with that.

Yea 20 up here is bad. By this lake, we get the coldest damn breezes, and this wonderful snow machine thing called "Lake Effect". Then it goes into the teens over night. I had to wait outside for about 20 minutes Friday while the building was having a "fire drill". Brutal stuff by the lake. But today Sunday was 41! Wee-haw! I was out fixin the cars as usual.

Well guys I'm really going to make things rough on y'all up there in the Buckeye state. We can still go the track when the weather down here is clear and dry and do every chance we get. I have even run in January so we can tune during thewinter and be ready for spring ahead of time. I know rub it in.

78...it might do yours good but it sure doesn't do mine any good. Metal in the arm aches and I get a darn headache from the teeth chattering. LOL!!! When I come in from outside I have to take a hot shower just to get the blood warmed back up and flowing again. Give me summer anyday!!! I did turn up the heat in the garage yesterday though. Fired the KeroSun up on one side, turned up the heater on the other, got the tools straightened out, put away, car parts hung up and out of the road, and swept up.. Taking inventory on tools yesterday I found tools I forgot that I even had. Now I have to drag the stuff from the house garage down to the other so I have room to pull both cars in. It's gonna warm up a little and rain so I have to wash all the gravel and grit out that we brought in from the snow melting off. If I add on to my garage again it WILL have a floor drain and water run into it so I can keep the cars washed off in the winter.

Kevin
