Winter Storage - What to Do?
Kinda got myself into a pickle with this car, bought it and didnt really take into consideration space.
I refuse to leave it out in the elements all winter and I would like to be able to work on it a little bit. The options I have considered are: Renting a garage - All winter storage at the average 65$/month is quite a bit of money, and assuming that its not drivable at the end of the winter I'd be out even more cash, and I will have to pay it every winter. Throwing a cover over it, and putting it in a bubble bag thing - Still not ideal because I wont be able to start it yet alone work on it, and still condensation inside is an issue. Purchasing a Cover-It. Another really expensive option, I would get the 12x8x24' version - $499, s&h - $150, vents, box fans and heaters $$$. Space here is an issue I have no really good place to put it in the yard and I hate the idea of killing that much grass. Is there any other options that I havn't thought of yet? |

Look in the paper, phone book, etc for a place that stores boats over the Winter. A lot of the time they also store RVs and cars. Around here it's about $100 for the whole Winter.
