Winters Aluminum Intake.

Hi Guys. I am looking at an old Winters intake for sale. Sorry but I just love that nostalgic Chevy stuff!
Anyway it has a casting number 3823481 on it. I tried both Chevymania and Mortec but cannot find that number.
Does anyone know for sure what it is? I am guessing it to be from a 283 but that is just a guess. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!!

I have looked in several books that I have and can't find it either, doing a search on the net turns up this web site that claims to have the answer (http://www.aacncclub.com/MYSTERYCASTINGNUMBERS.html.
Good luck,
Vern

Looks just like the old 283 power pack intake or 327-250 horsepower manifold. Winters made alot of marine application manifolds, and this might be one of them. Small ports and for small cubic inch engines. Kind of a neat piece though.

Is this a square bore? Is it dated? I've never seen or heard of a 481. You may have a piece of history. What is the asking price?
