Had to replace the heater box and such in the 83 monte w/ac.
Put in a nice uncut heater switch to heater box harness. It is identical to the one I removed. I have a new resistor and a new relay ( which I hope is the cause) that doesn't put power out to the blower motor. Has power feeding in on the red line. I tested all the other wires ( including to the resistor ) to see if the switch in the dash was working and all reacts as it should.
The motor works when wired to the battery.
Must be the relay......right?

Anyone have a wiring diagram for an 83 monte?

I don't have a diagram for a Monte with AC, but , If I had to guess, and all your power inputs were correct as you have tested, Something from the Air condition system is interlocking the heater blower from actuating..(like maybe a stuck door or cable from the control console with a limit switch on it.)

You need to find a Schematic for an AC model to verify..I don't think Chiltons or haynes will have the AC layout in it..BUT you never know..
