Wire guides for a Deca Star 180E Mig Welder

I"m new to using a mig welder (I normally use an arc welder), and have purchased a deca star 180E welder from Princess auto, and have learned that these are no longer sold in Canada.

Do you know where I can get parts? I need wire guides for 035 and 030 steel wire.

I have it running with 024 wire and 024 wire guide but I dont know if thats heavy enough for 1/8 to 1/4 material?

Also, how do you like your Deca welder?

Thanks in advance for your assistance! Murray

one reason to stick with a name brand welder; miller, lincoln or hobart
a lot of welders use name brand parts, take your welder part to a welding supply house
and try to visually match the parts

Most likely it uses Tweco parts for consumables..

This the welder ? http://www.decaweld.com/default.asp?...cmdID=1405&l=2

It may use Tweco parts, but it appears that they carry there own part numbers so it's a guess.

Most China variations of MIG welders do use Tweco parts
