Wiring a 60s Chevy steering column
I am putting a 1960 Chevrolet steering column into a 1937 truck. And besides from shorting it. It fits. But I have a wiring question. I know I don't need to use all of its 7 wires. Its a floor shift truck. So all I need to use is the horn wires and turn signal wires. It has a neutral safety switch but I am not using it. Here is the list of wires: first plug has a : Purple wire
3 wires Black with white stripe Black with yellow stripe Second plug has a : Green wire 4 wires Black with blue stripe Blue Black Have any idea which wires I need to use for just the horn and turn signal. and what they go to. It was a 3 speed on the column. No key THANKS ! |
Sorry It was a purple wire, black wire with white stripe and a black wire with
a yellow stripe. The second plug has a green wire, black with blue stripe wire, blue wire and a black wire. it came out wrong the first time. |
