Post Wiring an alternator

I'm building a street rod and have not wired it, but want to wire the alternator to keep the battery charged. I have a 350 engine and bought a new alternator ( I believe I asked for one to fit a 78 camaro ).It has a terminal with a nut on it which I'm guessing should go to the battery and two male push on terminals which have no labeling on them. I remember jumping something on another car but do not want to burn the alternator. Would appreciate your advice.
Thanks,John

Right the 10/32 screw connects to the battery. the plug in harness has two wires red is load wire also goes to 10/32 terminal it is internally connected to regulator. white wire is exciter wire, it takes 1.5 volts from battery when ignition switch is first turned on and sends it to alternators field. this circuit tells alternator to begin charging regardless of rpm.
