wiring diagram for 75 chevy C10 PU

I am looking for a wiring diagram for a 75 and a 77 chevy truck.I have a friend who had a fire under the hood of his 77 chevy c10.He used a under hood wire harness out of a 75 c10 but there seems to be a difference in the neutral safety switch circuit.A factory wiring diagram would help us get this little issue resolved.

Perhaps I can scan it and post or e-mail to you.
When I get home this afternoon of course.

I haven't had a time that our schedules will allow us to work on it.It is a ranch truck for hauling hay so it doesn't get driven much.I will post when we do get to it.

If its an automatic, you can bypass/jumper the neutral safety up on top of the column inside the cab, just to confirm that is the problem.

Also, the neutral safety on an automatic requires the shifter linkage to be adjusted right. You have to loosen the lock nuts on the linkage and go through the adjustment procedure so that the shifter detents match the transmission. I've been able to adjust mine so the truck starts in park, but can't quite get it to also work in neutral.

Doc here,

BRUCE:

When you have a NSS that works in one but not both positions OR slightly in both if you "rock" the linkage, you need to install a new neoprene washer kit on the linkage / transmission / column arms..this takes all the slop out of the linkage AND allows smooth operation..

IF you can't find OEM, get one from a Hurst kit..(same size holes usually)
