hello everyone, I have searched through posted threads but I'm looking for a more direct answer any help is awesome-

I have an 89 2wd s-10 that I am finally finishing up the engine swap from the 2.5 to a used 400 sbc and i would like to know the best way to connect wires properly from the ignition to the distributor,starter and anything else(how to id the correct wires) . The motor has a carb,hei, no ac. This project has taken a lot longer than i anticipated. Any help is great,Thanks.

hi should be as simple as putting the original starter wires back on the new one with your hei just run a new 12 volt wire out of your fuse box should work fine alternater should be a one wire to the battery and one to your dash light. to change your name go to the top of the page your on and select user cp when you get to that page you will find edit profile on your left use that. sean
