Wiring harness

Hi,
I am in the process of putting together a "Rat Rod" and I am a little frustrated being a "Ford Freak" I am looking for a wiring harness that I will not have to convert Ford to Chev color code the big 3 I will have to convert ford to chev is there any one company that makes a wiring harness that is ford oriented? Besides going to a bone yard and getting what I need?
Thanks any help will be greatly appreciated

Most if not all wiring harnesses are GM color coded. Personally I fail to see why it makes a whole heck of a lot of difference on a rat rod. . If you are that dedicated to Ford, the most economical thing would be to get one from a wrecking yard and just remove what you do not want from it. I cannot imagine them wanting a whole lot of money for it.

I sort of do see why I got used to one brand of car wiring and sometimes it just works easier to stick with colors you are familiar with.

or maybe that's not why he wants Ford colors

Painless offers a Universal Ford Muscle car harness part number 10123. It uses typical ford color coding. Here is a link to it on our site.

buy the book

My brother bought the book HOW TO WIRE YOUR STREET ROD in sacramento Ca at the Model A ford Parts store. .. he gave me the book when I bought his A V8 roadster. the book is an excellent reference. It has all the color codes and Info for GM, FORD and MOPAR parts you might use for wiring a steet rod, Last summer i did a 36 pontiac, Pinto light switch. GM ignition switch. old and new parts. It helped to know what wire went where with out tracing each one out
