Street rod wiring has come a long way since 1994. There are much better wiring kits out there today, like Painless, EZwire, Ron Francis, just to name a few.

Ok Vince, that's a good reason, then has anyone had good or bad experience with Painless, EZwire or Ron Francis?

All three are great products. The price range is Ron Francis (most expensive), Painless, and EZWire. They have all been around quite a while. Painless seems to have a bigger selection of accessories though.

The gearhead harness is the same one that is sold by EZ Wire. I have installed a couple and they are easy to use and the price is right (around 165.00)
