wiring power windows

adding new wiring kit.my power windows have 3 wires coming thru door to inside. orange/white/black. my new kit has 1 yellow wire that i have run into door/windows. im think blk is grd. the other 2 will go to this yellow wire that will be hot. im assumong that the switch will reverse the window motor off these 2 wires. am i right? thanks.

didn't your window kit have a harness with it? the yellow wire should go to the hot wire in the harness. the two colored wires go to the switch.
