Wiring schematic for vintage tach.
Anyone have a wiring diagram or brochure for one of these? I need to wire it up for a V-8 and it's one of those with the resistor you either connect or disconnect depending on how many cylinders you have but it isn't marked on the tach itself.

How many wires this thing have?? Have anymore pic's ? Like where the resistor is supposed to plug in?

Hippie,
You can try hooking up another tach that you know is working + this tach , just to see if its calibrated right . Neat looking tach, BTW. nice find  Mike

It's hopeless, just send it to me!
 All the tachs I had way back when left the resistor connected for V8s, I'm pretty sure. I never had one of those but it should be pretty simple. There should be a power wire, an illumination wire, a signal wire that goes to the coil and a ground. What wire colors do you have?
