Post wiring windshield wipers?

I am trying to wire up my windshield wipers. Here is the scoup: I have one wire coming from the fuse block. It's the power. Now on my wiper switch I have 3 prongs, 2 on top and 1 on the bottom. Then on the motor itself I have two prongs, 1 on top and 1on the bottom. On the motor the prongs face right. I need to know which one goes to the ground if it needs a ground or WELL I just need to know how to wire her up. Any replys are extremely helpful.
Thanks in Advance

okay here is the deal what type of auto are you referring too?
some wiper set up get ground from the mounting point to the auto and the main power feed would go on the bottom the the next feed up if a reduced feed and would run to the lower feed of the wiper and the last or top feed would be to the full load. but that is on a few auto's .
It is helpful that when you request help you give as much infor as you can like year make and model of the auto you are working on.
also check you local library for a wiring diagram of you auto that why you have something to go from.
